ABOUT
Six and a Quarter is that instant suspended between chaos and calm. The moment when the city slows down, changes color, and breathes differently. When the light becomes denser and the shadows lengthen forms, art ceases to be ornament and becomes resistance. This concept arises from an interpretation of Bogotá: a strong, authoritarian, and imposing city that asserts its presence without asking permission. It is harsh, noisy, and challenging, but at the same time, profoundly flirtatious. It insinuates itself in the details, in the mist, in the unexpected gleam of a corner, in the constant interplay between harshness and charm.
TASK
Design and development of fashion prototypes based on emerging trends and projecting them onto the clothing that would be worn in 2028. This was based not only on Bogotá but also on trends in different parts of the world. They had to consider three outfits: iconic, trend, and market-driven.
CHALLENGE
To convey, through clothing and photographic concept, the purpose of the capsule collection: to represent a city like Bogotá—a rough, humid, authoritarian city, but also flirtatious and kind to some.
SOLUTION
The collection translates this duality into garments that play with structure and fluidity, rigidity and gesture. Seis y Cuarto doesn't seek to tame the city, but rather to dress its character: a Bogotá that asserts itself, seduces, and resists, even when it seems to stand still for a moment.
